For generations, Oxnard area residents have had every opportunity this community had to offer, but today our kids and grandkids – in many ways – are locked out of that promise. The only path forward is through bold leadership that uses every tool available to reimagine an economically and environmentally sustainable future for Oxnard Area residents. The Port of Hueneme – Oxnard Harbor District is where this future will be realized.

Heather’s Vision for the Port
The Port of Hueneme is a premier docking port for Ventura County’s critical imports and exports, including automobiles, fresh produce, and more. Welcoming roughly 10 weekly ships, logistics programming for port operations is just one of the vital roles the Oxnard Harbor District guides the port in serving. Economic development, youth empowerment, climate resilience, and the protection of deep waters off the coast are critical functions as well.
